Job Duties
<ul>
<li>Provide high-quality, effective instruction in accordance within program guidelines through lectures, demonstrations, and/or audio-visual aids.</li>
<li>Facilitate student learning and perform evaluations of student learning for the program, including test administration to evaluate student progress.</li>
<li>Teach safety procedures and the proper use of tools and equipment in the lab areas.</li>
<li>Maintain a well‐organized, safe, and clean lab and/or classroom.</li>
<li>Maintain student discipline at all times.</li>
<li>Start and end class at designated time.</li>

Minimum Qualifications
• Associate Degree from a regionally-accredited institution. • Currently licensed as a Tennessee EMT-Paramedic without history of revocation, denial, or suspension of license. • Licensed emergency care experience must include a minimum of two (2) years practice, preferably within the last five (5) years. • Administrative experience must include a minimum of two (2) years in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) educational administration or greater than three hundred (300) hours of EMS instruction. • Current TEMSESA I/C (instructor/coordinator) course (renewed within within last two years). • Current endorsement in a Board approved trauma, cardiac, and pediatric course at the provider level.

• Classroom experience and administrative experience in delivery of workforce education and competency-based training.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Support instructor using appropriate techniques related to adult learning to include:
o Demonstrations
o Skills training
o Quizzing and discussion
• Provide basic counseling and support skills to facilitate learning and progress
• Assist in evaluating the student’s performance according to established standards and criteria
• Maintain communication with Northeast State Community College Program Director and instructors
• Provide appropriate level of supervision to student in clinical setting
• Complete other assignments as directed by supervision.
Minimum Qualifications
• AAS degree in a related field from an accredited institution • Currently licensed as a Medical Laboratory Technician or Technologist without history of revocation, denial, or suspension of licensure 
Preferred Qualifications
• One or more years of teaching experience • One or more years of related work experience • Conversational ability or fluency in a second language

• Technology Skills: MS Office suite; digital records management systems; general operating systems and data information systems • Ability to communicate with individuals from a wide range of diverse socioeconomic backgrounds (students, family, staff, governmental officials), both orally and in writing • Capable of managing time and workload to meet strategic planning, budgeting, and any other assigned deadlines • Dependability • Responsive to primary stakeholders’ requests • Professional demeanor, communication, and attire • Proficient functioning in a team-oriented environment Additional Notes: Position will require travel to clinical sites two to three days a week

Job Summary
Jackson State Community College is seeking a qualified candidate for the Assistant Men’s &amp; Women’s XC/Half Marathon Coach Position. This position will assist the Head Coach with the organizing, planning and coaching of the JSCC Men’s &amp; Women’s XC/Half Marathon Team.
Job Duties
<ul>
<li>Assist with the execution of practices and trainings</li>
<li>Recruitment of student-athletes</li>
<li>Travel planning</li>
<li>Equipment maintenance</li>
<li>Facilities maintenance</li>
<li>Transportation (driving &amp; coordination of travel)</li>
<li>Coaching</li>
<li>Possess the technical knowledge and teaching skills to prepare student-athletes for competitions.</li>
<li>Recruit prospective student-athletes to participate in XC/Half Marathon</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with both national and college policies</li>
