Job Description:

The Department of Health Sciences is a successful academic unit with 15 full-time faculty members dedicated to developing students holistically to lead lives of meaning and purpose, and to cultivate comprehensive inquiry for improving and promoting all dimensions of wellness, health, and lifelong physical activity. A majority of students across the two majors plan to enter professional schools in clinical health disciplines such as medicine, physician assistant, nursing, dentistry, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and nutrition. Other students enter exercise/sports science or public health related graduate programs, or directly into health-related employment opportunities.

With the goal of continuing to support and prepare undergraduate students progressing into clinical health disciplines, the Department of Health Sciences seeks a tenure-track faculty member whose expertise complements and extends that of the current faculty in the department.
