The Adult Education and Literacy Department is seeking English as a Second Language Instructors. Duties:<ul><li>Instruct adult ESL students in classes and learning experiences which will lead to the achievement of their educational and personal goals</li><li>Create lesson plans that follow the curriculum</li><li>Complete student and departmental records</li><li>Evaluate and document student progress</li><li>Use appropriate texts and teaching materials, as assigned by the Coordinator</li><li>Attend and participate in conferences related to teaching area</li><li>Attend program meetings and staff development activities</li><li>Assist students in the proper use of classroom equipment where appropriate</li><li>Show tolerance and flexibility in dealing with persons from disadvantaged social, economic and educational backgrounds</li><li>Show respect for cultural differences</li></ul> Interested individuals must have the minimum of a Bachelor's degree and knowledge of basic computer skills. Experience teaching adults as well as working with ESL student populations is preferred.&nbsp;
