Job Summary

The Department of Pharmacology and Nutritional Sciences invites applications for a 12-month, full-time, tenure track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the Special Title Series. Responsibilities include teaching pharmacology to medical, dental and/or graduate PhD Students. Teaching in our undergraduate minor in pharmacology, which has grown significantly since inception, is also an expectation. Candidates may also be expected to serve as course directors, to develop new course content or offerings and to assist with recruitment and participate in student mentoring. In addition to teaching, scholarship in biomedical research and/or biomedical education is a requirement for all tenure-eligible faculty as is service.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Candidates must possess a PhD (preferably in Pharmacology) or a PharmD. Experience teaching at the university level is preferred as is experience conducting translational research with evidence of publications in peer-reviewed journals.
