Job Summary

The Markey Cancer Center at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine is seeking an exceptional candidate for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in tumor immunology. Applicants must have a PhD and/or MD with expertise that complements existing center strengths. Research areas of interest include basic cancer immunotherapy, tumor microenvironment, cancer immuno-genomics, cancer immune-metabolism, population based immuno-omics, immune monitoring & biomarker discovery, cancer vaccines, and systems biology. Competitive start-up funds and faculty salary will be provided, commensurate with level of experience. In addition, wet laboratory space will be provided in the new, open-format, Healthy Kentucky Research Building which house the majority of cancer basic researchers and is in close proximity to state-of-the-art research cores.



The Markey Cancer Center is an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center on the medical campus of the University of Kentucky. Situated on a campus with all six health profession colleges, the cancer center is located within a vibrant and expanding basic, clinical, and population research community with ample opportunities for collaboration within and across its research programs (see https://ukhealthcare.uky.edu/markey-cancer-center/research for more information).
