Job Summary
The Field Coordinator for Seamless Alignment &amp; Integrated Learning Support (SAILS) will work to ensure successful implementation of the SAILS Program in the participating high schools in their assigned region. The Field Coordinator will work directly with students, secondary and post-secondary faculty and administrators, and the SAILS Leadership Team. Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Cannon, Dekalb, White, Warren, Coffee, Moore or Bedford county. This position requires travel approximately 3 days per week and requires someone to live in the vicinity of the schools they will be supporting.
Job Duties

<li>45% - 1. PROGRAM IMPLEMENTION – Ensures successful implementation of the SAILS project in the participating high schools in their assigned region by working directly with teachers and students to ensure mastery of skills for college readiness, while maintaining program fidelity and academic integrity. • Works with HS faculty and school system/building level administrators to ensure academic integrity protocols are followed and that the program is delivered as designed. • When school is in session, provides on-campus support to assigned high school SAILS classes to include individual assistance to students and curriculum/instructional support to teachers. • When outside the classroom, monitors student progress and gradebooks to maximize student success. • Identifies and solves software/technology problems to optimize students’ time on task and teachers’ productivity. • Utilize technology to enroll students in software and register students in the system. - (Essential)</li>
<li>40% - 2. COMMUNICATION – Provides frequent and effective communication between all participants at the regional, district, and school levels in their assigned region. • Instruct students, teachers, parents, and staff on the SAILS mission and college opportunities. • Provide resource information, both online and on-ground, to high school students, facilitators, LEAs, and community colleges. • Communicate dual enrollment opportunities to the high school students. • Facilitate and maintain ongoing communication between college and high school faculty. • Assist high school facilitators and counselors in coordinating community college campus visits for students. • Provide assistance to the SAILS Project Leadership Team to plan and coordinate SAILS training sessions and other meetings, if requested. - (Essential)</li>

INFORMATION AND ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTING – Gathers and disseminates information about the SAILS program and about student results to the SAILS Project Leadership Team, community colleges, and high schools in their assigned region. Follows established procedures when completing administrative assignments. • Working with the administrative offices at the partner colleges and local high schools, maintains appropriate records for all SAILS students. • Creates, compiles, and submits reports to the Director of Operations in a timely manner. • Provides assistance in the preparation of program results for articles, publications, and presentations. • Completes travel forms and leave reports on time and with attention to detail and accuracy. - (Essential)</li>

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree Experience working with diverse student body and/or young adults. Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Cannon, Dekalb, White, Warren, Coffee, Moore or Bedford county. 
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in education or closely related discipline 5+ years teaching experience in the K-12 system.

Knowledge of: assigned subject area’s basic concepts and online learning software; secondary and higher educational structures. Job Purpose: 
This position is responsible for assisting with the coordination, planning, and delivery of student services for the Williamson County campus.
Essential Functions: 
1. Coordinate and assist with the delivery of student services to the Williamson County campus.
2. Coordinate and promote student engagement, programs and activities.
3. Provide academic advising for current and prospective students including virtual events and in person.
4. Assist the Director of Student Support Services with front line enrollment services, specifically in the areas of admissions, registration, testing and financial aid.

Title: Apprenticeship Coordinator (Grant Funded)
POSITION SUMMARY The Apprenticeship Coordinator will be responsible for creating individualized apprenticeships and pre-apprenticeships that will prepare students for work in high-need fields. The Apprenticeship Coordinator will be responsible for building relationships with a diverse range of employers within the greater Nashville area and College’s service area with the intent to create apprenticeships and pre-apprenticeships opportunities for students.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to identify and develop training programs to meet the needs of local business and industry partners through registered apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programs. Work directly with business and industry to develop the key elements of registered apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programs and assist in the various stages of development including allocating resources to best accomplish the goals of programs. Collaborate on the development and evaluation of Work-Based Learning (WBL), apprenticeships, internships, job shadow and on-the-job training opportunities.
Collaborate with college departments, high school representatives, economic development agencies and program deans and directors to identify career pathways for creating a sustainable pipeline through apprenticeship. Work directly with program deans, directors, success coaches, etc., to identify a proper training and career pathway for each student. Support outreach initiatives to create awareness and recruit students into apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programs. Engage collaboratively with Apprenticeship TN, and, in particular, the College’s designated state coordinator, on all aspects related to registered pre-apprenticeships and apprenticeships. Work directly with all departments of the college to include the workforce division, Career Services, Welcome Center and other applicable departments.
Build relationships with other community development/partner organizations to identify sources of funding for programming and provide support for grant/funding proposals. Ensure compliance with the standards of the Tennessee Board of Regents System for Registered Apprenticeship and Pre-Apprenticeship. Participate actively on appropriate committees and task forces and in professional associations and organizations at the campus, regional and state levels. Represent the college with local workforce development partners, business organizations and economic development groups. Collaborate with the Executive Director to establish a process for communicating project updates in a timely and sufficient manner.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources Development, Business or related field from an accredited college or university
Three years of industry experience and/or experience working in workforce development
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience working in higher educations or community colleges

The coordinator will be the direct liaison for the college in meeting the workforce needs of business and industry in the field of construction while working in collaboration with the Dean of the School of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, the Executive Director for the Center for Workforce Development and Continuing Education and other college stakeholders. The purpose of this position is to build industry relationships, create workforce training specific to the needs of the industry and create pathways for current and perspective students to participate in Ready to Reconnect programming.

Create workforce programs and courses that support the regional labor needs in our service region. Support and follow up on current and newly created programs. Collaborate with the AWE Project Coordinator and other employment liaisons/coordinators to create seamless programming for all industry sectors. Oversee the daily administrative activity of required AWE grant requirements for construction related components. Promote opportunities for college faculty, staff and students to participate in business and industry externship activities to improve connections between campus and business and industry. Generate awareness and connection to the College and its construction programs and contracted training opportunities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in an applicable field
Three (3) years’ experience in the construction industry
