POSITION SUMMARY Administering a high availability distributed system environment. The administrator will work very closely with the Technology Services Division staff to meet business and technical demands. Helps with solutions to problems that may arise in an expeditious, efficient, and timely manner. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Nashville State Community College.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Installs, configures and manages physical and virtual servers in support of applications utilized by the College. Monitor the performance, security and availability of physical and virtual servers and Citrix Application Delivery Controllers. Establish and maintain firewalls on physical and virtual servers. Perform version and package upgrades on physical and virtual servers and Citrix Application Delivery Controllers. Provide systems technical support to the Technical Systems Division staff. Tennessee College of Applied Technology Murfreesboro is accepting applications for the full-time position of Facilities Support Associate 4. This position reports to the Facilities Coordinator and will work at both our Murfreesboro and Smyrna campuses. The shift time for the position will be 12:30 to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (full time, 37.5 hours/week). The Facilities Support Associate 4 is responsible for the maintenance, repair and cleaning of the campus buildings (including the Career Center). 
Job Duties
The Facilities Support Associate 4 is responsible for, but not limited to, the following tasks:
Cleaning&nbsp;
• Empty trash from both Murfreesboro and Smyrna campus buildings, including the Career Center.
• Clean windows, restrooms and drinking fountains.
• Resupply restroom and shop areas as needed.
• Share responsibility for the care and upkeep (sweeping, mopping, buffing, vacuuming) of the floors in all areas of both campuses and the Career Center.
Maintenance
• Perform building maintenance tasks such as minor wall repair, painting, stripping/waxing floors, changing HVAC filters, equipment maintenance, etc.
• Under direction of Facilities Coordinator, assist with regular inspections of elevators, fire extinguishers, emergency eyewash/showers, and other classroom equipment on both campuses.
• Assist with emergency drills and emergency/security system checks.
• Replace light bulbs when needed.
• Observe safety practices in handling, storing, and using all equipment/chemicals/materials.
Groundskeeping
• Share responsibility for maintaining campus grounds, including lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, turf, and irrigation.
• Operate and maintain trucks and power tools.
• Clean outside walkways and doormats. Empty trash cans outside the buildings, and remove trash from lawns and parking lots.
• Remove snow and ice from walkways when necessary.
Meeting Rooms/Campus
• Assist with room preparation for scheduled events (moving furniture, etc.).
• Unload deliveries as needed.
• Help maintain ample inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Perform minor repairs under the direction of the Facilities Coordinator.
• Make a security check of all doors before leaving.
• Other duties as assigned by Facilities Coordinator.
Minimum Qualifications
• The Facilities Support Associate 4 should possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent. • At least three years prior experience in custodial and/or maintenance work. • Possess ability to learn new skills which complement and enhance his/her performance. • Valid TN Driver’s License. 
Preferred Qualifications
• Ability to carry out regular maintenance and minor repairs of commercial plumbing systems; knowledge of current safety regulations and requirements plumbing systems. • Tow-motor certification.

POSITION SUMMARY The Enterprise Business Analyst (EBA) provides support for Nashville State Community College Technology Services Division (TSD) enterprise projects, possibly supporting several initiatives simultaneously. Responsible for maintaining accurate student records using internal student tracking software to support current retention initiatives, evaluate student progress, and possible needs for intervention.




Collaborate with other departments and divisions to provide accurate and appropriate information to students regarding college policies, procedures, degree options, course selection, and completion of degree requirements. Make referrals to appropriate stakeholders when necessary.




Assist with new student orientation for advisement and guidance of students with registration.




Meet with students or other stakeholders individually or in groups to disseminate information, gather feedback or address issues as necessary




Provide coverage of the Student Success center evenings or weekends during periods of increased student need or during peak student usage.

Title: Testing Technician II
POSITION SUMMARY Provides proctor services for exams and interprets placement test results. Upholds proctoring standards and rules for all tests conducted.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/ JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Completes annual proctor certification exams. Proctors online and conventional pen/paper tests. Interprets and implements vendor test protocols for students. Maintains surveillance of testing labs to ensure there are no violations of student guidelines. Coordinates with the Access Center accommodated testing space and proctor availability. Facilitates approved student accommodations in the Testing Center. Verifies accommodated student appointment in the AIM system. Builds appointment in Register Blast system.
Updates and maintains an appropriate manual of test procedure guidelines and passwords. Interprets placement test results for individuals and appropriate departments. Maintains security and accountability of tests. Processes, documents and reports testing irregularities and incidents to supervisors. Communicates necessary testing guidelines and information to examinees. Serves as a liaison between the Online Learning Office and the Testing Center. Collects, coordinates, and distributes web test materials to the main campus and to all College Testing Centers. Prepares detailed correspondence regarding proctoring requirements for various programs and vendors.
Provides focused customer service to students, faculty, administration and the public. Enters Accuplacer scores into the College’s Banner system. Assists with training of new employees to the department. May act in a supervisory capacity in the absence of the Assistant Director. Travels to other locations to proctor exams as needed. Oversees specific clerical duties.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Associate’s degree
Two years of related experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Prior experience proctoring academic tests

The Field Coordinator for Seamless Alignment &amp; Integrated Learning Support (SAILS) will work to ensure successful implementation of the SAILS Program in the participating high schools in their assigned region. The Field Coordinator will work directly with students, secondary and post-secondary faculty and administrators, and the SAILS Leadership Team. Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Cannon, Dekalb, White, Warren, Coffee, Moore or Bedford county. This position requires travel approximately 3 days per week and requires someone to live in the vicinity of the schools they will be supporting.

PROGRAM IMPLEMENTION – Ensures successful implementation of the SAILS project in the participating high schools in their assigned region by working directly with teachers and students to ensure mastery of skills for college readiness, while maintaining program fidelity and academic integrity. • Works with HS faculty and school system/building level administrators to ensure academic integrity protocols are followed and that the program is delivered as designed. • When school is in session, provides on-campus support to assigned high school SAILS classes to include individual assistance to students and curriculum/instructional support to teachers. • When outside the classroom, monitors student progress and gradebooks to maximize student success. • Identifies and solves software/technology problems to optimize students’ time on task and teachers’ productivity. • Utilize technology to enroll students in software and register students in the system. - (Essential)</li>

Master’s Degree in education or closely related discipline 5+ years teaching experience in the K-12 system.
