Job Summary
Maysville Community &amp; Technical College is seeking a motivated and dependable individual to join our team as a Part-Time Facilities Worker II. This position, located at the Rowan (Morehead) Campus, plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality of campus facilities to support a positive environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. This is a part-time, temporary classified position with no benefits other than those required by law.




Job Duties:
Perform daily cleaning of classrooms and offices, including dusting, trash removal, window cleaning, vacuuming, wiping baseboards, and cleaning ceilings. Conduct daily cleaning, disinfecting, and maintenance of restrooms to ensure a sanitary environment. Assist with grounds maintenance, including emptying outdoor trash receptacles and general outdoor upkeep. Move and arrange furniture and equipment for classes, events, and special activities. Perform floor care and maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, carpet shampooing, stripping, waxing, and buffing floors. Other duties as assigned. 




Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Ability to perform a variety of physical tasks, including lifting, standing, bending, and operating equipment. Must be able to stand, walk, move, lift, and climb steps for extended periods of time. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and take initiative. Effective communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team.&nbsp;




Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with maintenance/housekeeping. 




Additional Skills Requested:
Previous experience in custodial or maintenance work is preferred.

Job Summary
The Accredited Certification Coordinator facilitates the statewide accredited certification program for firefighters across the state. The coordinator develops and maintains all related certification policies and procedures and develops and delivers certification cognitive and practical skills exams. The coordinator will continuously work with SFRT district offices to deliver consistent and high-quality certification testing.




Job Duties:
• Oversee the statewide administration of accredited certification testing. • Maintain current certification levels and oversee the implementation of new certification levels. • Schedule practical skills testing sessions and assign personnel to serve as evaluators. • Serve as the liaison to the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) or equivalent. • Attend staff meetings and conferences in the Commonwealth to promote the accredited certification program. • Participate in IFSAC or equivalent reaccreditation site visits internationally. • Train Fire Commission/SFRT personnel to remain current with testing policies and procedures. • Other duties as assigned. 




Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree or equivalent. 5 years' experience Kentucky Accredited Certification Fire and Emergency Services Instructor Level II (or equivalent)&nbsp;




Preferred Qualifications:
Fire Officer Accredited Certifications EMT or Paramedic

Minimum Qualifications:
Position Requirements: Must be certified by the Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services (KBEMS) as an EMS instructor. Must have completed an approved EMS instructor course. Must have a minimum of two years of experience as a practicing paramedic. Must hold a current and valid paramedic certification. Must have experience in teaching or training in the field of emergency medical services. Must comply with all continuing education requirements as specified by KBEMS. &nbsp;

Job Summary
The full-time Lineman Instructor will provide direction and instruction for the Lineman Training Program on the MCTC Rowan Campus. Will be responsible for assistance in recruitment of students by attending networking meeting, holding seats on job-related committees, and attending career fairs for secondary institutions and adults. Order materials and supplies needed for the program on the Rowan campus. This position will also build and retain strong employer partnerships through advisory boards, guest instructors, and student employment opportunities after completion of the training. Managing and tracking student placements, maintaining a safe learning environment, and security of all inventory tools and material for the program are essential as well. It is intended that the person in this role will also manage the CDL program and instructors, and submit academic program assessments and other necessary items.




Job Duties:
-Responsible for coordination of recruitment efforts with Workforce staff, secondary education partners, outside recruiting agencies, and MCTC aligned programs. (ex. Diesel Tech) -Manage CDL Program classes and other part-time staff instructors. Assist Lineman CDL class in instruction, as needed. -Order and maintain supplies and materials for Lineman class, while staying within the budget. Work with Workforce staff to submit budget items. -Update and manage Blackboard for APT 158/159 class work and assessments. -Deliver Spring, Summer, and Fall Lineman classes. Instructor will teach/instruct students in the classroom and at the pole yard from the ground and on the pole. Instructor will cover all material so that upon completion students will know all the course specific learning outcomes. -Track and manage student attendance and job placement rates of graduates. -Attend and co-coordinate bi-yearly advisory board meetings. Form relationships with employers for job leads for graduates. -Perform other job duties as assigned.




Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience. 6-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent and the following licenses: Journeyman License/Class A Lineman, Class A CDL License, CDL Hazmat &amp; Tanker Endorsement, OSHA 10/30 Certified&nbsp;
