Job Summary
Owensboro Community and Technical College is seeking to fill a full-time staff position to support our Student Affairs Department. This position focuses on assisting the Financial Aid department and providing guidance in financial aid matters to prospective and currently enrolled students. At the same time, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and institutional policies and regulations.




Job Duties:
· Counsel students and parents about federal and state financial aid programs. · Manage the Federal Work Study program. · Coordinate with OCTC Student Records to ensure faculty no-show reporting is completed in a timely manner and make financial aid adjustments accordingly. · Manage all institutional scholarships awarded by the OCTC Scholarship Committee and serve as a scholarship liaison to students, the OCTC Foundation office, and scholarship donors. · Manage and reconcile state financial aid programs, including but not limited to: Kentucky Educational Excellence Scholarship (KEES), College Access Program (CAP), Kentucky National Guard Tuition Assistance, and Early Childhood Development Scholarship. · Complete verification of financial assistance forms for state and local agencies. · Review and update OCTC financial aid website pages to ensure accurate and up-to-date information. · Assist in reviewing student files to determine eligibility for various financial aid awards. · Learn and remain current on federal, state, and institutional financial aid regulations. · Maintain and ensure confidentiality of student records and information. · Other duties as assigned.




Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years related work experience or equivalent is required. OR · Associate degree and four (4) years of relevant work experience.&nbsp;




Preferred Qualifications:
· MS Office experience preferred.

Job Summary
Owensboro Community and Technical College is hiring two full-time Clinical Nursing Instructor positions. Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Nursing Clinical Instructor is responsible for conducting clinical education experiences that align with didactic instruction. This role supports student development of technical nursing skills and ensures achievement of course competencies through high-quality clinical instruction. This is a 10-month, full-time faculty position requiring on-site presence three days per week, with twelve-hour shifts.




Job Duties:
• Collaborate with fellow instructors to coordinate clinical education experiences that align with didactic content and support student learning. • Provide high-quality clinical instruction and conduct evaluations to promote excellence in nursing education. • Support the Director of Nursing in recruiting, onboarding, and retaining clinical faculty committed to student success. • Stay current with the nursing curriculum and required competencies, integrating evidence-based practices, and continuous improvement strategies. • Actively participate in nursing faculty meetings, College Assembly, and professional development opportunities. • Assist nursing faculty and staff in ensuring student compliance with clinical facility requirements. • Serve as a professional role model, demonstrating integrity, compassion, and excellence in nursing practice. • Design and manage clinical rotation schedules to optimize student learning and facility collaboration. • Identify and assess potential healthcare facilities to expand and enrich clinical learning opportunities for students. • Able to lift up to 35 pounds and walk frequently demonstrates the ability to squat, stoop, bend, push, and pull as required. • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the mission and goals of the nursing program. 




Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Kentucky or a compact state with multi-state privileges is required. • Minimum of two years of recent clinical nursing experience (within the past five years) is required. • Must maintain personal compliance with clinical facility requirements, such as CPR certification and TB screening. • A graduate degree in nursing or a related field must be obtained within five years of hire. &nbsp;




Preferred Qualifications:
• Graduate-level nursing (MSN) degree is strongly preferred. • Prior teaching experience is strongly preferred and valued.
