Job Summary
The Financial Aid Advisor IV position provides administrative and technical leadership, expert consultation and best practices and procedures in all financial aid manner to support system wide KCTCS college financial aid fund programs. It combines student financial aid functional knowledge and technical expertise with an emphasis on federal compliance support. Responsibilities include the day-to-day operations of financial aid systems, indirectly leading other financial aid systems staff, and providing ongoing training. Additionally, this role contributes to the enhancement of financial aid processes, development of operational metrics, problem-solving initiatives, and performance improvement efforts. Job Duties:

Job Summary
The primary responsibility of the Benefits Specialist II position is to provide support for the Benefit Operation functional area. 1. Job Duties:
Provides technical and administrative support and direction in developing and maintaining crisis and emergency management plans, policies, and procedures system wide. Updates and maintains Critical Incident Notification Protocols and procedures for entire KCTCS System. Job Summary
This is a full-time, lecturer appointment in the Mathematics and Statistics Division. The position requires flexibility of scheduling and includes online and in person instruction at BCTC Newtown campus and occasional non-standard locations in Lexington, Georgetown, and Frankfort. 




Job Duties:
This position will be responsible for teaching 36 credit hours annually. This includes creation, update, and delivery of course content, utilization of a learning management system such as Blackboard for communication and feedback, curriculum development, course design, and student outcome assessment. The position may require some non-standard start and end dates and teaching at locations in Lexington, Georgetown, and Frankfort. Additional requirements are regular availability for students through office hours and any college/system required trainings. 




Minimum Qualifications:
Mathematics Lecturer:
<ul>
<li>Master’s degree in Mathematics, OR 
</li>
<li>Master’s degree in a related field with at least 18 graduate hours in Mathematics</li>
</ul>
Statistics Lecturer:
<ul>
<li>Master’s degree in Statistics, OR 
</li>
<li>Master’s degree in Mathematics with at least 9 graduate hours in Statistics, OR 
</li>
<li>Master’s degree in a related field with at least 9 graduate hours in Statistics and 9 additional graduate hours in either Mathematics or Statistics (18 graduate hours total) &nbsp;</li>

Preferred Qualifications:

Job Summary
The Manager IV - Administrative Leadership (Executive Director of Project Management) position is responsible for leading the successful, planning, execution, and completion of projects assigned by the KCTCS President or KCTCS Executive Vice-President/Provost. The Executive Director of Project Management will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining project management standards, practices, and methodologies. They will oversee the project portfolio to ensure alignment with KCTCS goals and objectives while optimizing resource utilization and ensuring the timely completion of initiatives. This is a leadership role requiring expertise in project governance, strategic planning, and team management. Streamline coordination efforts, reduce project duplication, promote consistent change-management methodology and provide general strategic oversite of organization-wide goals. Leadership &amp; Strategy: Lead and manage the PMO, ensuring alignment of all projects with organizational goals and business priorities. Define and communicate the vision, strategy, and goals for the PMO, ensuring all stakeholders and peer teams understand their role in the success of each project. Develop and implement project management standards, methodologies, and best practices for the organization. Establish and maintain a governance framework for project selection, prioritization, and execution. Project Portfolio Management: Oversee and manage the organization's project portfolio, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure the project portfolio aligns with strategic business objectives and resource availability. Provide ongoing oversight and reporting on the progress of projects, ensuring risks and issues are identified and mitigated effectively. Team Development &amp; Management: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of project managers and PMO staff. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that supports continuous learning and growth. Provide training and development opportunities to ensure PMO team members are skilled in current project management methodologies and tools. Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve project management processes, tools, and techniques to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Implement and drive the adoption of project management software and tools to streamline project workflows and improve reporting. Stakeholder Communication &amp; Reporting: Develop and deliver regular reports on project performance to key stakeholders, including executive leadership and peer teams. Act as the primary point of contact for project management-related issues across the organization, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement. Identify and communicate key project milestones, risks, and issues to senior management, providing recommendations for solutions and mitigation strategies. Risk &amp; Issue Management: Oversee the identification and management of project risks and issues, ensuring appropriate escalation and resolution in a timely manner. Establish risk management strategies to proactively address potential project challenges and minimize disruptions. Positions with the KCTCS System Office located in Versailles, KY are term-contract positions, with the expectancy of continuance based on performance. KCTCS offers a hybrid work schedule with a requirement to be onsite a minimum of 3 days per work week. Hybrid work schedules are subject to periodic review and may be modified or terminated at any time. 




Job Duties:
Lead the development of comprehensive project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines. Assemble and manage project teams. Maintain clear and consistent communication with KCTCS leadership, peer teams, and PMO team members to provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project goals. Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPls), and prepare regular status reports for management and colleagues. Identify and minimize potential risks and deliver high-quality standards in accordance with best practices. Drive process improvement initiatives to optimize project delivery methodologies and enhance overall organizational efficiency. Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and capture lessons learned for future projects. Other duties as assigned.




Minimum Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Leadership, Public, Business Administration, etc. and three (3) to four (4) years of relevant experience or equivalent.&nbsp;




Preferred Qualifications:
Doctoral Degree in Leadership, Public, Business Administration, etc. and five (5) to ten (10) years of relevant experience or equivalent. Preferred certificates/training: Project Management Professional Certificate as well as two years of lean/continuous improvement or six sigma training.

Job Summary
Teaches primarily Environmental Science to students, advises students, maintains office hours, provides internal service to the college as assigned, provides external service as a representative of the college, pursues professional development, and provides leadership where appropriate.




Job Duties:
1. Teach transferable general Ecology and Hydrology lectures and laboratories. 2. Teach technical Environmental Science lectures and laboratories. 3. Develop syllabi, course materials, exams, etc. 4. Order materials, set up/break down labs, and maintain the EST lab and instruments. 5. Use technology in lectures, laboratories, and online to enhance student learning. 6. Work closely with fellow EST and Natural Sciences faculty. 7. Assist adjunct instructors and substitute for absent instructors as needed. 8. Adhere to all institutional policies and procedures. 9. Maintain appropriate standards of professional conduct and ethics. 10. Participate in internal and external service within the college. 11. Engage in an appropriate level of professional development as a faculty member. 




Minimum Qualifications:
• Master's degree or above in Environmental Science or closely related field. • Or Master's degree or above in any subject with a minimum of 18 graduate hours completed in Environmental Science or closely related subject matter. &nbsp;




Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience teaching at the college level. • Qualification to teach general Geology, Biology, or Chemistry also preferred.
