Job Summary
The Assistant Director of Advising/Dual Credit reports directly to the Associate Dean of Advising Services. The Assistant Director provides support and management to both Advising Services and the Dual Credit Office, serving as second in command in both areas. The Assistant Director supports lead in both areas to implement strategies to promote both retention and new student enrollment. The Assistant Director provides training to all new advisors/dual credit advisors and takes the lead in producing resources/materials for staff and external partners. 




Job Duties:

<li>Provide weekly enrollment list of dual credit students to dual credit advisors and ensure they notify partners weekly.

<li>Provide leadership related to student success to include the program applicability, BCTC First initiatives, and consistent submission of FYE waivers for dual credit students applying for graduation.

<li>Assist Associate Dean with student advisor assignment process. 
</li>
<li>Provide training for advisors (professional and faculty)/dual credit advisors/student development specialists to cover advising and dual credit processes.

<li>Provide Advising Hub/Dual Credit updates on critical documents for all advisors and dual credit partners.

Job Summary
This is a full-time staff position to support the accounting and administrative functions of the Bluegrass Community and Technical College (BCTC) Office of Advancement and the BCTC Foundation. The position reports to the Vice President of Advancement and Workforce Development. 




Job Duties:
1. Plans &amp; executed the development, organization, preparation and updating of complex financial statements, journals, accounts, ledgers, &amp; reports for various financial needs within an automated financial system to ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions to support the BCTC Office of Advancement &amp; the BCTC Foundation.&nbsp;
 2. Analyzes financial reports, data and records, identifies discrepancies, investigates and recommends solutions as needed.&nbsp;
 3. Monitors automated financial systems, develops and documents controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity.&nbsp;
 4. Audits reconciliations, journal entries, schedules and reports.
 5. Scholarship fund administration oversight.
 6.Oversight on annual reports to scholarship donors, including Schell and Emergency fund management. Works collaboratively with the office of Advancement staff, the Executive Director of the BCTC Foundation, &amp; interfaces with the BCTC Foundation board of directors.
 7. Works with the Advancement staff to ensure invoicing and follow through on donations, follow through with donor communications, internal tracking, and report preparation.

Job Summary
The Manager IV - Safety position provides operational leadership, direction, and training to the staff of the Division of Safety and Emergency Services and KCTCS college employees involved in the office's functional areas; Responsible for the coordination of plans and programs that protect lives and property, prevents accidents and incidents, and preserves the learning environment and business operations of KCTCS; all KCTCS Environmental Health and Safety, Crisis Management, Title IX Compliance related to safety and security, and System Office security, safety, and environmental management Services. During an emergency, maintain a command center for monitoring and managing the emergency operations; and other duties as assigned. Coordinates efforts of Safety and Security managers at system colleges to jointly develop system wide security and safety initiatives. Positions with the KCTCS System Office located in Versailles, KY are term-contract positions, with the expectancy of continuance based on performance. The Manager IV - Safety position will also provide support and expertise to KCTCS college representatives and local, state, and federal partners. Job Duties:
Provides technical and administrative support and direction in developing and maintaining crisis and emergency management plans, policies, and procedures system wide. Develops and maintains Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) for System Office. Develops and maintains Business Continuity of Operations Plan for System Office and provides support and guidance to college representatives to ensure they have plans in place. Updates and maintains Critical Incident Notification Protocols and procedures for entire KCTCS System. Coordinates and conducts regular meetings with the System Office Crisis Management Team (CMT to provide training, emergency exercises, etc. to ensure the readiness of the CMT in the event of an emergency. Alerts CMT when there is a need to be alert and on standby to respond. Coordinates and conducts regular meetings with the System Office Emergency Response Team (ERT) to provide training, emergency exercises, etc. to ensure the readiness of the ERT in the event of an emergency. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Security and Protective Services, Emergency Management or Public Administration and four (4) years of relevant experience or equivalent. Experience with emergency management, fire safety, the military, or law enforcement. Strong understanding of emergency management principles and practices. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Student Records/Registrar, serves as a member of the Student Records Office team to provide courteous, efficient and accurate information and service to faculty, staff, students and the public regarding all records and registration information.  




Job Duties:

<li>Processes all transcript requests for students within 24 hours. Transcript request processing includes verifying general education requirements, accurately validating Legacy work, maintaining requests received thru the National Student Clearinghouse and office mail, and completing cash transmittals for money collected.

<li>Updates and maintains student records by posting academic bankruptcy, repeat options, grade changes, Incomplete grades, AP, STEP and other articulated credits and test credits to the official transcript as needed.

<li>Responsible for updating program plans as requested by students.

<li>Responsible for running the course auditor to check for program applicability errors and working with other offices to resolve any errors.

<li>Processes all enrollment verifications received through the National Student Clearinghouse.

<li>Works with other Record Office staff as back-up for office coverage and in monitoring the BL student email. Always follow the customer service guidelines established for the office and abides by the guidelines of FERPA.

Job Summary
This is a full-time, lecturer appointment in the Mathematics and Statistics Division. The position requires flexibility of scheduling and includes online and in person instruction at BCTC Newtown campus and occasional non-standard locations in Lexington, Georgetown, and Frankfort. 




Job Duties:
This position will be responsible for teaching 36 credit hours annually. This includes creation, update, and delivery of course content, utilization of a learning management system such as Blackboard for communication and feedback, curriculum development, course design, and student outcome assessment. The position may require some non-standard start and end dates and teaching at locations in Lexington, Georgetown, and Frankfort. This position will provide front line services for the Financial Aid Office. The person in this position should be knowledgeable in student services in order to provide quality information and customer service to prospective and current students, members of their family, and alumni. This position will also provide additional service to Financial Aid Specialists and must be knowledge of federal and state aid programs and policies.




Job Duties:

Job Summary
The Dual Credit Advisor serves as liaison to secondary schools for articulated credit, the Bluegrass College Academy, dual credit, and dual enrollment. Working collaboratively with the Dual Credit Director, high school Guidance Counselors, and Dual Credit Instructors, the Dual Credit Advisor assists in recruitment, application, advising, registration, and matriculation of dual credit students. The Advisor provides information to dual credit students about various college resources, monitors academic progress, provides individualized and group academic advising/guidance, and facilitates matriculation after high school graduation. In addition, the Advisor assists students with understanding college procedures and policies and responds to questions from students, parents, high school guidance counselors, dual credit instructors, as well as other interested parties. The Dual Credit Advisor reports to the Director of Dual Credit. 




Job Duties:

<li>Provide academic advising to new, returning, assigned, and prospective dual credit students and include appropriate documentation and concise notes of student interactions, referrals, resources, and interventions.

<li>Assist with BCTC orientation for dual credit students to ensure they receive necessary information as related to placement testing, dual credit scholarships, college resources and services, policies, and procedures. 
</li>
<li>Ensure seamless onboarding for dual credit students by affirming student eligibility and enrolling eligibility students in approved dual credit courses. 
</li>
<li>Create an academic plan for dual credit students and provide ongoing support throughout the semester to include personalized communications and prompts, one-on-one meetings to identify barriers to academic success, and assist in developing plans to overcome these barriers to reach established student goals.

<li>Collaborate with Dual Credit Director to facilitate establishment of KCTCS User Accounts for Dual Credit instructors. 
</li>
<li>Confirm approved dual credit course list and instructors for each assigned high school with Dual Credit Director prior to semester start.

<li>Work collaboratively with Admissions, Records Office, the Business Office to ensure accurate and timely application entry and processing, registration, and billing for OC students.

<li>Assist with processing dual credit waivers and scholarships. 
</li>
<li>Assist with dual credit roster verification and final grade submission.

<li>Work collaboratively with the Dual Credit team to increase dual credit student enrollment, retention, credential completion, matriculation to BCTC, and/or successful transfer.
