Job Summary
Hazard Community and Technical College invites applications for the position of Grant Writer.&nbsp;&nbsp; The position of Grant Writer will provide overall grant procurement and management. 




Job Duties:
Duties to include, but not limited to: • Compiles research for initiatives that are appropriate for external private funding. • Researches external private funding possibilities for strategic priorities of the college/district. • Prepares grant applications, proposals and contracts as directed by the Dean of IEPR or President. • Collaborate with staff in private foundation grant or contract writing. • Assists faculty and staff in understanding the policies and procedures governing expenditures from these accounts. • Provides contract negotiation, administration, and management for Fund 12 • Directs the review of Fund 12 expenditures. • Other duties as assigned.




Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (related field) and four years of related work experience, or equivalent.&nbsp;




Preferred Qualifications:
GPC Certification preferred.
