Job Duties:
The part-time Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Instructor will be responsible for Class-A CDL range and road instruction, monitoring and documenting student progress and attendance. This is a part-time position used to fill vacancies as needed due to increased enrollment, workload, or scheduling.




Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree or equivalent experience and demonstrated competencies in commercial transportation. Must hold a valid Kentucky Class A Commercial Driver’s License. Must have over-the-road CDL driving experience, prefer a minimum of two (2) years. Preference will be given to applicants with experience as a classroom, road and range Class A CDL instructor. In depth knowledge of, and superb ability to teach, every aspect of truck driving is a must.&nbsp;

Job Summary

Job Duties:

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and two years related experience required; degree in education or content-related field is preferred. Score of NRS level 6 in Reading on the TABE A 13/14 assessment. Successfully earns a passing GED Ready score in subject areas being taught. Instructors must be digitally literate and proficient in using digital tools for communication, professional learning, and instruction. ***Must be able to work day and evening hours (mainly evening)***&nbsp;




Preferred Qualifications:
Experience teaching adult education classes and is knowledgeable of reading, writing, and math instructional strategies. Experience working with Kentucky Adult Education Reporting System (KAERS). Knowledge of the TABE and GED Ready procedures.

Job Summary
What do Embedded Tutors do? Embedded math tutors support student learning and success directly within the classroom and beyond. They help students engage with course content, develop academic confidence, and build study skills, acting as an essential bridge between in-class learning and out-of-class support. 




Job Duties:
Embedded tutors work alongside the instructor to provide timely, student-centered support. They engage with students during class, assist with activities, and encourage the use of tutoring services outside of class. They aim to build rapport, offer encouragement, and foster a supportive learning environment that strengthens students’ understanding and motivation. This position reports to the Tutor Coordinator and works in partnership with a course instructor. Embedded tutors attend class sessions regularly and meet with students one-on-one or in small groups through Learning Commons tutoring services (in-person or virtual). Additional responsibilities include attending trainings, logging tutoring appointments in Starfish, and participating in program feedback and meetings. 




Minimum Qualifications:
• Grade of an A or B in MAT 150 – College Algebra &amp; MAT 155 – Trigonometry • Successful completion of 12+ college credits at an accredited college. • Two professional references, at least one of whom is a faculty member who teaches math or science at an accredited college. • Overall college GPA 3.0 or above. &nbsp;




Preferred Qualifications:
