Job Duties:
Primary Duties and Responsibilities include but aren’t limited to: • Teaching approximately 15 credit hours per semester • Teaching assignments will be face-to-face and online. • Maintaining weekly office hours on campus • Advising students • Participating in college or system committees • Maintain a current understanding of the field. A successful ACTC faculty member will exhibit the following: • Willingness to work with peers to support the mission of the college • Willing to teach at times, locations, and modalities to meet the needs of our students, including high school dual credit and prison education program students • Present the current discipline knowledge to teach effectively • Demonstrate respect for the varied learning needs of students and the ability to adapt teaching methods to address learning styles • Willingness to participate in the college’s continuous improvement process. 




Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications include a Master of Business Administration with a Certified Public Accountant license and three years of accounting experience or a Master of Science in Accounting. &nbsp;




Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer a candidate with at least two years of teaching experience with face-to-face and/or online modalities and experience with a learning management system (Blackboard or similar LMS) and other instructional technology.

Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer a candidate with a minimum of two years of teaching experience with face-to-face and/or online modalities and experience with a learning management system (LMS) and other instructional technology. Experience with network security, cybersecurity, or Amazon Web Services (AWS) is preferred. A willingness to obtain AWS Practitioner and Architect certifications within one year is also preferred.

Job Summary
Under the Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program, students can earn money for their education by working part-time, on-campus, while enrolled in school either full or part-time. If you are awarded a Federal Work-Study, you will earn the current federal minimum wage. Federal Work-Study funds are limited. Students in the programs gain work experience while earning extra income that will not reduce their K-TAP benefits. The placement of work-study students with both private and non-profit employers helps prepare them for the workplace by allowing them to gain work experience, job retention skills and earn extra income.
Job Duties:
On-campus: working in student service offices, labs, and various other campus departments. Off-campus: working in local elementary schools, small businesses, non-profit businesses, and various community service positions. All work assignments are aimed at the student's area of study for on the job experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
To be eligible for the Ready to Work Program, students must be enrolled in school and receive K-TAP benefits. Kentucky State Law requires state and national pre-employment background checks as a condition of employment.
