Job Summary
Owensboro Community and Technical College is seeking to hire Maintenance &amp; Operations Worker who reports to the Maintenance and Operations Supervisor. This position perform general maintenance duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of campus (in buildings and on the campus grounds), order supplies, and work with others on the M&amp;O team to complete tasks. The shift is 2pm-10pm including shift differential compensation. 




Job Duties:
• Utilize basic equipment and supplies to clean assigned facility areas and remove waste and recyclables. • Assemble and deliver equipment and furniture. • Monitor and secure facility interior and exterior entrances, reports issues to appropriate entities. • Maintain organization of supply areas and equipment, document inventory, perform some clerical duties, and request additional supplies as needed. • Document and report repairs, violations, and pest control needs. • Provide groundskeeping services and maintain clean walkways to ensure they are free of debris, litter, snow, and ice. • Other duties as assigned. 




Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) and one (1) year of related experience is required.&nbsp;




Preferred Qualifications:
• Associates degree or vocational certificates and three (3) year of related experience preferred. • Forklift or Tractor experience preferred

Job Summary
Owensboro Community and Technical College is hiring a full-time 10-month Psychology Instructor. This position provides instruction in undergraduate general education psychology courses using a variety of teaching methods. Classes may include in-person, online, and hybrid modes of instruction. Primary teaching assignments will include General Psychology and Developmental Psychology with the possibility of other lower division courses. This position reports to the Department Head of Mathematics, Sciences, and Social Sciences. 




Job Duties:
• Deliver engaging and effective instruction for psychology courses according to specified learning outcomes in a variety of modalities to include in-person, hybrid, and online. • Teach 15 credit hours per semester (30 credit hours annually across fall and spring). Assignments may include courses across multiple campuses based on student needs. • Assess student performance, provide timely feedback, and support students in achieving academic success. • Complete Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) reports promptly. • Maintain accessibility for students by holding regular office hours and communicate availability through appropriate channels. • Engage in active recruitment and retention activities through programming at secondary schools, community partners, and professional organizations. • Coordinate student externship sites and oversee student placement and performance assessment. • Maintain current knowledge of psychology and educational methodologies through continuing professional development. • Participate in faculty professional development activities to include employer sponsored training. • Participate in college committees, assigned work groups, and attend college, division, and department meetings. • Participate in community service activities. 




Minimum Qualifications:
• Master's degree with 18 graduate hours of coursework in Psychology&nbsp;




Preferred Qualifications:
• Two years of prior teaching experience preferred. • Experience with instructional technologies, including presentation software and learning management systems (e.g., Blackboard-Ultra). • Some graduate hours preferred in Research Methods.
