Educational programs may include workshops, exhibits, presentations, and food demonstrations on topics such as basic nutrition, food security, food safety, and food budget management. Regular duties include: Recruiting and enrolling youth, individuals, and families in the Nutrition Education Program; Planning and organizing the educational delivery; Evaluating the programs and submitting required records including computer and web based reports promptly; and Attending all training conferences. The Program Assistant will also refer to county extension agents the names, needs, and/or interest for individuals in areas other than nutrition.
