SUMMARY:This full-time position reports to the Assistant Dean of Student Success &amp; Transition Programs as part of a four-person department. The Associate Academic Advisor provides holistic, developmental, and strength-based academic advising to undergraduate, degree-seeking students in select academic majors, including Animation, Game Art &amp; Design, and Graphic Design. This role communicates daily with students and provides expert guidance regarding academic policies, procedures, and curricular requirements.The Associate Academic Advisor interacts with students in a manner consistent with the mission and core values of CCAD's Student Affairs Division and will provide excellent customer service and possess the ability to create a welcoming and supportive environment for all students.
