Job Summary Extension Agent for 4-H Youth Development in Clark County Location: Winchester, KY The Extension Agent for 4-H Youth Development will work to provide leadership and management to the overall 4-H youth development programs for Clark County. Agent responsibilities include: <ul><li>implementing a well-rounded program that develops youth through school and community-based programs</li><li>recruiting and training volunteers and leaders to work with youth</li><li>utilizing and/or developing councils, advisory groups, and committees in programming around issues involving leadership development, community involvement, local government, community services and other forms of community economic development.&nbsp;</li></ul> &nbsp;All agents in a county will support the dissemination of useful and practical information on subjects relating to Agriculture, Family Consumer Sciences, 4-H and Community and Rural Development as outlined in the KRS statutes 164.605 to 164.675.  The work-study component of Ready to Work provides work opportunities on both on-campus and off-campus through work-study programs. Students in the programs gain work experience while earning extra income that will not reduce their K-TAP benefits. The placement of work-study students with both private and non-profit employers helps prepare them for the workplace by allowing them to gain work experience, job retention skills and earn extra income.

Types of Jobs: RTW Program On-campus: working in student service offices, labs, building maintenance and various other campus departments. Off-campus: working in local elementary schools, small businesses, non-profit businesses, and various community service positions.
