This is a full-time, Academic Year Appointment reporting to the Dean of Health Sciences. Official workstation may change from campus and center dependent upon needs and demands of the Surgical Technology program. Duties include working with the Director of Surgical Technology for coordination of student classroom and clinical field experiences.
Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>To devote an equivalent of 37.5 hours of work per week</li>
<li>Arrange, manage, and document all clinical site preceptor training.</li>
<li>Help maintain files on all clinical adjunct/preceptors.</li>
<li>Establish clinical sites and manage all required documentation for site and program.</li>
<li>Coordinate student schedules with clinical sites.</li>
<li>Ensure that all students meet clinical site requirements including:</li>

-Vaccinations
-Clinical Site Orientations (e.g.TCPS)
-Ensure hours and skill sets outlined by program are obtained by each student.

<li>Participate in professional development and maintain membership in an appropriate regional, state and/or national organization related to your teaching at DSCC.</li>

This is a full-time, academic year, term contract in Biology. The position reports to the Dean of Arts, Sciences, &amp; Technologies.

• Teach 30 hours (TLE) per academic year in Biology (Anatomy &amp; Physiology, General Biology, and Microbiology or a combination of these groupings), both lecture and laboratory systems.       Instructor of Criminal Justice
    

Dyersburg State Community College invites applicants for Emergency Medical Services adjunct instructors for day, evening, and online classes held in Dyersburg, Covington, Paris, or at one of our other off-campus centers. Initial assignment may be at one of our teaching locations, but the official work station assignment may change each semester.       Adjunct Instructor EMS (Pool)
    

The Patrol Officer (Police Officer 1) supports students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors by monitoring activity on campus for the purpose of maintaining peace and enforcing laws and supports the college by ensuring a safe educational and work environment. Northwest TCAT Covington Campus is the home campus for this position. However, officers are occasionally required to perform duties and functions at other DSCC or TCAT campuses.&nbsp;
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

<li>Performs foot and vehicle patrols of campus to preserve the peace and enforce the rules and regulations of the college, state, federal and local laws, directs and manages vehicular traffic, secures and unlocks campus areas as needed.</li>
<li>Responds to calls for service; investigates motor vehicle incidents, criminal offenses, and non-criminal incidents; and takes appropriate law enforcement or investigative action.&nbsp; Monitors and reviews security camera recordings to assist in investigations and to ensure safety for the campus community.</li>
