You will identify and facilitate partnerships with various departments and groups at SCAD, contribute to the library's social media presence, and manage online research guides, tutorials, and other instructional resources. Similarly, you are responsible for identifying and evaluating current and emerging technologies that support research and instructional services. You will participate in team-based collection development through the selection and recommendation of resources in art and design subjects, evaluate and gather feedback on current and potential library resources, and contribute to an environment of continuous improvement by exchanging ideas and feedback in all service areas.The successful candidate will plan and provide library instruction that incorporates best practices in information literacy. They should also have superior verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and be proactive in their work to advance the department, library, and university.Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>ALA-accredited (or equivalent) MLS or MLIS degree&nbsp;</li><li>Education or significant research experience in one or more subjects offered at SCAD</li><li>Commitment to current and emerging teaching, learning, and instructional technology practices</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications: <ul><li>Prior experience working collaboratively with faculty, students, and staff in an academic library environment</li></ul>Travel Required:&nbsp;&nbsp;<ul><li>  Less than 10%</li></ul>Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday.
