Job Summary
The Environmental Services Department of Jefferson Community and Technical College has an opening for a full-time Team Lead Custodial Worker for the Downtown campus. This is a second-shift position; work hours are 2 pm until 10 pm.




Job Duties:
Essential Functions: The primary duties of this position are to coordinate second-shift employees cleaning responsibilities, address areas of need, provide training to staff, maintain adequate supply levels, track usage and submit supply requests, perform general cleaning of the campus and stocking of supplies as needed. Other duties include but are not limited to: Provide clean and sanitary facilities for students, staff, faculty, and the general public daily. Perform floor maintenance such as shampooing carpet, sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing, and buffing. Perform other duties as assigned Ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and safety in assigned areas. 1. Utilizes basic equipment and supplies to clean assigned facility areas and remove waste and recyclables. 2. Monitors and secures facility interior and exterior entrances, and reports issues to appropriate entities. 3. Maintains organization of supply areas and equipment, documents inventory, and requests additional supplies as needed. General classroom or building cleaning, bathroom cleaning and sanitation, and simple floor care. 




Minimum Qualifications:
High School/GED, and three years of related experience, or equivalent&nbsp;




Preferred Qualifications:
Previous supervisory cleaning experience and custodial experience, Knowledge of machines and cleaning tools. Physical requirements include the ability to lift 20 pounds. The employee may be on their feet for long periods of time.

Job Summary
The Natural Sciences Division of Jefferson Community and Technical College has an anticipated opening for a full-time Biology instructor. This position will be responsible for full-time instruction in all or two of the following: General Biology &amp; Laboratories, Microbiology &amp; Laboratories, and/or Anatomy &amp; Physiology with Laboratories. Successful candidates for the Anatomy &amp; Physiology position must demonstrate academic preparation in that specific sub-discipline. Successful candidates for the Microbiology position must have earned graduate-level credit in a microbiology course. Job Summary
The primary responsibility of the Benefits Specialist II position is to provide support for the Benefit Operation functional area. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate entry of benefit information into the PeopleSoft HCM system, working with carriers to process long/short term disability claims and life insurance claims, processing benefit enrollment updates due to qualifying events and enrollments for new hires, processing national medical support notices, supporting open enrollment events, provide benefit customer support to employees and retirees, support the retiree direct billing process, participate in reconciliation of billing to withholdings, and other duties as assigned. This position will work cooperatively with team members in the Payroll Shared Services and Benefit Operations organization and provide reporting as needed and will function as a back-up for the Benefit Manager. Positions with the KCTCS System Office located in Versailles, KY are term-contract positions, with the expectancy of continuance based on performance. Job Summary The primary responsibilities for this position consist of providing total, comprehensive, continuous and patient centered care which includes: assessing, documenting, planning, implementing, teaching, developing, and evaluating a comprehensive nursing plan of care; delivering direct patient care; ensuring patient satisfaction; training and delegating duties for Nursing Care Technicians (Nursing Assistant); and adhering to University policies and procedures as well as federal, state and local regulations. Furthermore, this environment supports collaborative efforts among the nursing staff and the team of physicians to increase communication and enhance expected patient outcomes. This includes utilization of the nursing process in conjunction with a comprehensive patient-centered plan of care, ensuring patient satisfaction. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities The ideal candidate will have the following: knowledge of Maslow’s eight Basic Human Needs and the priority within Gordon’s Functional Health Patterns Frame Work as well as Swanson’s Caring model; superb direct patient care and critical thinking skills; basic computer navigation skills and working knowledge of the internet; ability to communicate in a professional and respectful manner with patients and their families, co-workers and physicians; and strong organizational, prioritization, and delegation skill. The candidate will be highly motivated, pro-active and confident in advocating for patients and their family members. Will also enjoy working in a strong team environment and provides open, honest communication with fellow staff and physicians. In addition, the ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical skills and a proven ability to work in a team as well as independently. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
