Job Summary
The primary purpose of the full-time Maintenance Technician II is to provide general maintenance with an emphasis on commercial equipment and upkeep of building and grounds to maintain a safe and clean environment for learning.




Job Duties:
• Perform HVAC monitoring/maintenance for commercial buildings that would include knowledge in boilers, chillers and water source heat pumps (geo-thermal and water source heat pumps). • Perform general electrical repairs and service that includes working with voltages ranging from 120 to 480. Required to install receptacles, switches, breakers, ballast, and replace light fixtures. • Perform general commercial plumbing repairs and maintenance. • Perform dry wall repairs, painting repair, door repair, hanging, and installation of ceiling and floor tiles. Must be comfortable on ladders or scaffolds up to 30 feet. • Performs grounds maintenance such as: mowing, weed eating, trimming trees, planting, snow removal, parking lot repairs. Clean leaves, dirt, and debris from building entryways. Inspect and clean sidewalks, parking lots, and driveways as needed. Pick up trash across campus and its perimeter. • Perform general equipment repairs and furniture assembly. • Perform general custodial duties when custodial workers are off the schedule. Assists with set up and tear down for campus events with the custodial workers. • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor or Director of Maintenance &amp; Operations. 




Minimum Qualifications:

The primary purpose of the part time Administrative Assistant III – Business Affairs is to provide complex administrative support to a department or group of professionals in support of unit goals.




Job Duties:
1. Provide administrative support for the Vice President for Business Affairs, involving a wide variety of administrative functions for which the assistant assumes a lead responsibility as the delegate of the administrator. 2. The primary purpose of the full time Adult Education Instructor is to teach mathematics and reading, provide assessment and targeted instruction services to the Academic Foundations Department students in Christian and Todd Counties, to earn a high school equivalency diploma (GED), enroll in college, or advance in a career.       Nursing Instructor – Simulation
    

Title: Police Officer, TCAT Clarksville Campus
POSITION SUMMARY Under general supervision, performs all duties of a Police Officer, including enforcing applicable laws, ordinances, policies and procedures. Patrols the campus by foot, bicycle or motor vehicle.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/ JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Protects life and property of the general public within the department’s jurisdiction. Responds and takes the lead in atypical situations and emergencies, until relieved by higher authority. Assists with training activities and in-service presentations for other police officers, security officers and the campus population. Observes and reports suspected crimes, accidents or activities of a questionable/suspicious nature. Discourages unlawful activities. Works with the Chief of Police to plan, organize and implement security for campus functions, special events, crisis management and disaster planning.
Reports incidents involving persons or property, reporting likely cause of accidents, pursuing appropriate course of action and informing proper authorities as required. Cooperates with other law enforcement officials and jurisdictions and testifies in court or legal proceedings as required. Operates and maintains safety and security department equipment. Keeps records and makes reports. Makes recommendations to the Chief of Police on the development and implementation of comprehensive security programs, policies and procedures. Serves as liaison with contract security company and officers. Provide guidance in coordination with Chief of Police for the contract security officers. Responds to requests for assistance, such as jump starting cars, unlocking doors, giving directions, etc., from students, faculty and staff. Maintains all training to ensure P.O.S.T certification is current.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or educational equivalent
Two years of work experience in law enforcement
Possess a valid Tennessee driver’s license. Out of state applicants must obtain a Tennessee driver’s license within thirty (30) days of hire
Current certification by the Tennessee Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) Commission, per TCA 38-8-107, or the ability to become P.O.S.T. certified within six (6) months of hire.

POSITION SUMMARY This position is a full-time faculty position responsible for preparing and delivering quality instruction in Psychology.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Teach courses via on-ground, online, hybrid or web-enhanced delivery modes as assigned. This position will be based on the Clarksville campus with teaching assignments primarily at the Clarksville campus. Additional teaching assignments are possible at any campus or site at which NSCC instruction takes place. Within a minimum workweek of 37.5 hours, teach a minimum of 15 hours and hold office hours. Work with Course Leads, Department Chair, and Dean to ensure consistent student experiences. Utilize the college’s learning management system to provide accurate and updated course materials to students.
Submit updated and accurate syllabi prior to the first day of class. Regularly check college email and departmental mailbox. Respond to emails/messages within 24 hours, except on the weekend. Complete all required reports such as attendance, early alerts, progress reports, and grade submissions. Administer and return questionnaires and student outcome assessments by the required deadlines. Prepare and analyze data for student outcome assessments as assigned.
Submit final grades for each semester by the deadline established by the registrar. Provide academic advising to students with an emphasis on retention and success.
