Job Description:Position Summary&nbsp;The Chicago School University Library seeks an energetic, innovative, service-oriented, and collaborative professional to serve as an Access Services Associate.&nbsp;This is a full-time, on-campus position primarily located at the Washington, D.C. campus of The Chicago School. Remote work may be considered depending on campus operations and library needs. This position works a regular Monday-Friday schedule; occasional weekend coverage may be required.&nbsp;Reporting to the Head of Access Services Librarian, this position provides regular coverage of the library circulation desk in Washington, D.C., oversees daily operations for library materials, and manages library student employees. Areas of responsibility include circulation, reserves, Interlibrary Loan, stacks management, hours, and coordination with building operations staff. &nbsp;This is a supervisory position that directly manages the library student employees (Federal/College Work Study) in Washington, D.C. This course is delivered in a blended format, where students complete the “lecture” portion of the class online and the lab portion either in a classroom for campus based students in webinar format for distance learning students.&nbsp;The Advanced Statistics course focuses on how to effectively use statistics to make effective decisions in research and practice. The objective is to help students learn how to use statistics to draw conclusions about applied problems. The approach will be to help students discover how to use statistics to frame the questions they ask and examine the answers they get. Inquiries will be assigned, and Admissions Representatives are expected to complete calls in accordance with established scripts and policies in a timely manner.</li><li>Respond to all new student inquiries quickly and maintain consistent communication with all assigned prospective students throughout the admissions process.</li><li>Conduct telephone-based, virtual, and in-person consultations to qualify prospective students, explain available academic programs, advise them on admission requirements, and ensure that all admission paperwork is completed properly.</li><li>Effectively maintain Salesforce database through inquiry management, proper documentation, logging of calls and activities, and a purposeful contact strategy.</li><li>Positively and professionally represent the university through telephone-based, virtual, and in-person meetings and events.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.</li><li>Strong communication and listening skills.</li><li>Computer skills including experience using customer relationship management systems and the ability to learn new systems quickly.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Previous admissions experience is preferred, but not required.</li></ul>Compensation &amp; BenefitsThis opportunity is budgeted at $$23.64-$25.64 base compensation.
