Research Assistant Professor in Physics (2 Positions)The Department of Physics at The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) is excited to announce two fixed-term Research Assistant Professor (RAP) positions in (a) experimental discipline of flexible and microelectronic energy storage, and (b) computational physics of strongly correlated electron systems closely related to energy storage in layered materials. Both positions will be for up to 3 years to work collaboratively and synergistically on a project which brings together faculty and staff members from the departments of physics and chemistry. The team aims to develop energy storage solutions, based on novel layered materials, which can be efficiently translated into practical applications. The two RAPs must be eager to actively engage in a stimulating interdisciplinary environment that fosters research by closely working with faculty members in College of Science. Adjunct Clinical Nursing Faculty - Nights

POSITION SUMMARY:&nbsp; The Director of Student Success and Evaluation is a full-time faculty member (rank commensurate with experience) serving within the Physician Assistant Department. This position is responsible for the planning, development, and management of all activities related to evaluating and enhancing student success across both the didactic and clinical phases of the PA programs. This position is a hybrid role and requires frequent travel to the Austin campus as needed. As such, preference will be given to candidates in Texas and the surrounding states.This individual plays a key role in enhancing learner achievement by analyzing student performance data, identifying trends and implementing targeted support strategies to improve outcomes aligned with the program’s student learning outcomes and PA competencies. The Director collaborates closely with program leadership to inform curricular refinement through the review of course-level and standardized assessment performance, and supports the implementation of data-driven interventions. In support of the program’s continuous self-assessment and quality improvement efforts, the Director contributes to the program’s compliance with ARC-PA accreditation standards by compiling and analyzing data essential to ongoing self-study and reporting processes. The Director also works to maximize student access to academic support services and retention resources by developing customized learning plans and utilizing program-based learning platforms.The Director of Student Success and Evaluation will possess extensive knowledge of Physician Assistant education and demonstrate a commitment to supporting student achievement, faculty collaboration, and program excellence.
