The Accredited Certification Coordinator facilitates the statewide accredited certification program for firefighters across the state. The coordinator develops and maintains all related certification policies and procedures and develops and delivers certification cognitive and practical skills exams. Job Summary
The full-time Lineman Instructor will provide direction and instruction for the Lineman Training Program on the MCTC Rowan Campus. Will be responsible for assistance in recruitment of students by attending networking meeting, holding seats on job-related committees, and attending career fairs for secondary institutions and adults. Order materials and supplies needed for the program on the Rowan campus. This position will also build and retain strong employer partnerships through advisory boards, guest instructors, and student employment opportunities after completion of the training. Managing and tracking student placements, maintaining a safe learning environment, and security of all inventory tools and material for the program are essential as well. It is intended that the person in this role will also manage the CDL program and instructors, and submit academic program assessments and other necessary items.




Job Duties:
-Responsible for coordination of recruitment efforts with Workforce staff, secondary education partners, outside recruiting agencies, and MCTC aligned programs. (ex. Diesel Tech) -Manage CDL Program classes and other part-time staff instructors. Assist Lineman CDL class in instruction, as needed. -Order and maintain supplies and materials for Lineman class, while staying within the budget. Work with Workforce staff to submit budget items. -Update and manage Blackboard for APT 158/159 class work and assessments. -Deliver Spring, Summer, and Fall Lineman classes. Instructor will teach/instruct students in the classroom and at the pole yard from the ground and on the pole. Instructor will cover all material so that upon completion students will know all the course specific learning outcomes. -Track and manage student attendance and job placement rates of graduates. -Attend and co-coordinate bi-yearly advisory board meetings. Form relationships with employers for job leads for graduates. -Perform other job duties as assigned.




Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience. 6-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent and the following licenses: Journeyman License/Class A Lineman, Class A CDL License, CDL Hazmat &amp; Tanker Endorsement, OSHA 10/30 Certified&nbsp;
