Job Summary The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Kentucky, College of Medicine is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible general OBGYN for a full-time position at the UK community-based OB/GYN practice in Morehead, Kentucky. Morehead is the home of the University of Kentucky Rural Physician Leadership Program (RPLP). Each year 10 medical students are accepted into the RPLP program where they spend the first two years on campus in Lexington with the larger class and their third and fourth years in Morehead with University of Kentucky community-based Faculty using Saint Claire Regional Medical Center (SCRMC) as their inpatient facility. Major Responsibilities of this position include comprehensive Obstetrics and Gynecology practice and participation in teaching activities with medical students. Development and participation in educational and community activities and involvement in hospital and university committees is strongly encouraged. Experience and enthusiasm in teaching and supervising medical students is desirable. This position will involve duties at community practice in Morehead, KY. The Department of Radiation Oncology is a vital part of the UK Markey Cancer Center, the only NCI-designated Cancer Center in Kentucky.
