Job Summary
Jefferson Community &amp; Technical College is seeking qualified candidates for the Dual Credit Facilitator. The Dual Credit Department facilitates enrollment and onboarding of high school dual credit students generally and with specific programs such as Accelerate 2 College, UPS School to Work, and Rotary Bridge. This is a team-led, high-functioning, student-focused environment. 




Job Duties:
• Responsibilities include the complete enrollment cycle for general and technical education dual credit classes. • Building relationships with designated high school partners in JCPS and supporting the College’s Matriculation Plan in relation to those high school students for transition into full college enrollment. • Facilitating relationships between the college and secondary education institutions that offer dual credit classes; developing aligned CTE pathways; coordinating efforts and communication with public school systems about Dual Credit courses • Supporting Dual Credit Office professional development for counselors and orientations for dual credit students • Supporting specialized programs for dual credit as needed • Serve as JCTC’s dual credit primary point of contact for assigned high schools in Jefferson County Public Schools providing the highest level of customer service for Dual Credit enrollment and matriculation. • Collaborate with high school personnel to provide intentional student advising focusing on student post-high school options at JCTC. • Serve as the main point of contact for visits and events such as Parent Nights and Dual Credit events. • Through the Dual Enroll platform, coordinate with high school teachers, counselors, and JCTC staff to manage student enrollment in dual credit classes, including the drop/withdraw process. • Initiate and maintain student records • Maintain organization of course requests, high school faculty assignments, and course building including the management of enrollment capacity in Peoplesoft. • Assist in management of the UPS School to Work specialized program with support of the Director of Dual Credit including student enrollment, billing, program communication and orientations for both faculty and students. • Assist with student orientations hosted by the Dual Credit Office, including specialized programs. • Assist with the KHEAA dual credit scholarship award process, mapping, reconciliation, recalculation of tuition, and billing as needed. • Assist with the management of the Dual Credit Department shared email account and respond to student, faculty and counselor inquiries. • All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Jefferson Community and Technical College (JCTC) is seeking a qualified and motivated instructor to join our Lineman Training Program. This position plays a key role in preparing students for careers in the electrical utility industry through hands-on training, classroom instruction, and a strong commitment to safety and professionalism.




Job Duties:
Teaching high quality instruction following the JCTC Lineman course curriculum. Maintain extensive knowledge of and compliance with the Electrical Utility Safety Rules and procedures. Oversee and maintain program equipment and lab facilities and complete necessary reports and documentation . Recruit, advise, and mentor students, providing guidance on program expectations and career opportunities in the lineman field.&nbsp; Stay current in discipline knowledge, industry trends, and instructional techniques&nbsp; to ensure effective traching purposes. Job Summary
The Jefferson Community and Technical College Humanities Division has openings to teach hybrid and on campus sections of Spanish at multiple Jefferson campuses.




Job Duties:
The primary responsibilities of these positions are to teach courses, maintain some office hours for mentoring and coaching students, success and retention activities, and utilization of a learning management system such as Blackboard for communication and feedback. Please note that this is an adjunct pool. We will only contact applicants as needed for classes. 




Minimum Qualifications:
Eighteen graduate hours in Spanish or Latin American Studies and a Master’s degree, or a Master’s degree in the teaching discipline required.&nbsp;




Preferred Qualifications:
A doctorate and/or previous teaching experience in Spanish at the community college level or at a four-year university. 




Additional Skills Requested:
 Ability to create active learning assignments and/or utilize universal design. Ability to use the college’s learning management system, as well as use technology proficiently. Physical Requirements: Comfortable environment and sedentary work: no unusual physical requirements
