Professor in Sociology and Anthropology Under the Regents' Research Excellence program, the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Texas at El Paso is recruiting a scholar at the full professor rank with a focus on Environmental Social Sciences, Human-Environment Relations, and/or Environmental Justice broadly. Research and specialization on Water, Geographic Information Systems, and/or the U.S. Mexico border region are strongly preferred. The successful candidate will engage in collaborative research within our department and across campus. A strong record of extramural grant funding is required. Chair - Department of Theatre and Dance The College of Liberal Arts at the University of Texas at El Paso is searching for an experienced and visionary leader to serve as chair of The Department of Theatre and Dance beginning Fall 2025. We seek an artist-scholar who is committed to align the department with the classification of UTEP as Research 1 university, Hispanic Serving Institution and Carnegie Community Engaged institution. The appointment will be at the level of Professor with Tenure.
