Required Qualifications:
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software, Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Illustrator, as well as other content production software such as BoxOut, Corel, and other editing/developing software. Previous knowledge of website management software such as Presto Sports, Drupal, WordPress, or other similar platforms. Demonstrated effectiveness in communication skills required. Excellent writing, grammar, and spelling skills. Computer skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Preferred and Minimum Requirements of Education and Experience:
Preferred qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, information technology, graphic design, or a related field is preferred. A minimum of one year of full-time relevant experience in graphic design and/or website management is required.
A minimum of an Associate degree and two years of full-time marketing or design experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
Minimum starting pay is $34,400 annually ($17.64 per hour). With additional experience pay increases to a maximum of $46,100.

Job Summary

POSITION SUMMARY

Supervise staff and student employees. Provide disability awareness and professional development training for faculty, staff, and administration. Provide consultation to faculty, staff, and administration regarding academic accommodations, compliance with legal responsibilities, as well as instructional, programmatic, and physical modifications. Prepare and manage departmental budget, including seeking grant funding. Serve as Vol State’s Accessibility Chair on TBR’s required campus access team. Coordinate TBR’s required annual course audit, including selecting the academic program for audit, training faculty participating in the audit, and uploading audit data. Chair of the Accessibility Compliance Task Force. Coordinate VSCC’s accessibility training, educational opportunities and projects. Ensure College meets all accessibility standards and complete all required reporting to TBR. Other duties as assigned.&nbsp;
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in Special Education, Counseling, Education, or related field. Three years experience working with special populations in higher education or other related experience in education or social services. Two years of leadership experience either in directly managing employees or project management.
Preferred Qualifications:
Five years experience working with special populations in higher education or other related experience in education or social services.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of state and federal regulations, including Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Knowledge of grant funding and educational programs. Must have knowledge of DSM V, diagnosis and interpretation of educational, psychological, medical documentation and effective uses for educational intervention. Must be able to determine how a student’s documented functional limitations may impact the completion of specific course work and determine reasonable accommodations in order to meet essential course requirements. Excellent writing and documentation skills.
Pay Rate: $62,385 - $77,981 annual salary depending on experience

Minimum Requirements:

<li>Bachelor’s degree required, preferred degree in Business, Education, Psychology or Counseling from an accredited college or university, with a master’s degree preferred.</li>

<li>Keep up to date on the latest training in the latest office technology and procedures and be willing to engage in staff development activities as needed, including some overnight travel for various trainings. Working knowledge in using Microsoft Office Suite and Banner.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Title IX policies and Disability Services.</li>
<li>Leadership and organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.</li>
<li>Distribute marketing and recruitment materials for technical programs.</li>

General Duties: The Student Services Coordinator is responsible for the effective and efficient operation of all aspects of the department of the Paris and McKenzie campuses including but not limited to: financial aid, student records, student counseling, job placement, admissions and recruiting. This position oversees and participates in the compilation, maintenance and submission of reports as required by federal, state and accrediting agencies. The Student Services Coordinator also oversees enrollment of dual enrollment students from area high schools, updates student catalogs/handbooks and college literature, assists with accreditation activities for the college, coordinates and conducts new student orientations, processes student ADA accommodation requests, coordinates and participates in graduation ceremonies. Travel to all campus locations will be required on a regular basis. This full-time position reports to the President and is based on the main campus in Paris. Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
