Job Purpose:&nbsp; The purpose of Testing Services is to provide individual and group testing, which includes national and state mandated assessments, designed to place students academically and measure success.&nbsp; The Coordinator of Williamson Campus Testing Services directs, oversees and participates in the daily operations of the Williamson Campus Testing Center and strives to assure that all tests are administered ethically and consistently.


Essential Functions:

A full-time faculty is responsible for delivering instruction in various formats (on-line, in person, video-conferencing, or any combination of methods) in the discipline(s) for which she/he has been employed. Instruction may take place at any of the college’s campuses, at a clinical partner facility, or at a designated temporary location. POSITION SUMMARY Provides proctor services for exams and interprets placement test results. Upholds proctoring standards and rules for all tests conducted.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/ JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Completes annual proctor certification exams. Proctors online and conventional pen/paper tests. Interprets and implements vendor test protocols for students. Maintains surveillance of testing labs to ensure there are no violations of student guidelines. Coordinates with the Access Center accommodated testing space and proctor availability. Facilitates approved student accommodations in the Testing Center. Verifies accommodated student appointment in the AIM system. Builds appointment in Register Blast system.

POSITION SUMMARY Under general supervision, performs all duties of a Police Officer, including enforcing applicable laws, ordinances, policies and procedures. Patrols the campus by foot, bicycle or motor vehicle.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/ JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Protects life and property of the general public within the jurisdiction of the Nashville State Community College Police Department. Responds and takes the lead in atypical situations and emergencies, until relieved by higher authority. Title: Access Services Coordinator
POSITION SUMMARY Coordinates the College’s disabilities services program for students, including assessing student needs and identifying and organizing instructional and technology supports.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Serves as the College’s liaison and informational representative for students with disabilities. Assesses students’ individual needs using evaluation reports, interviews and professional acumen and judgement and engages in an interactive process with students and relevant personnel to determine appropriate reasonable accommodations for students. Coordinates with the Testing Center to ensure students receive approved testing accommodations, according to ADA guidelines. Processes student accommodations and communicates with students and faculty using AIM (Accessible Information Management) system.
Prepares and conducts faculty/staff workshops regarding accommodations for students with disabilities. Networks with service providers to help identify appropriate supports for students. Remains current on relevant regulations and laws and other topics pertinent to the role, including recent innovations and availability of adaptive/assistive equipment and technology. Provides support to the student affairs division as needed, including assisting with admissions, orientation and advising and developing intervention strategies to improve student retention, particularly for students with disabilities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in education, special education, counseling, psychology, rehabilitation counseling, social work or related field
One (1) year of experience working with students with emotional, physical and learning disabilities
Experience with case management
Experience reviewing and interpreting medical documentation
Experience interpreting and applying the ADA and Sections 504 and 508 of the Rehabilitation Act
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Prior experience in higher education
Experience with assistive/adaptive technology
Experience using accommodation management software systems, such as AIM or similar system

POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for delivering quality instruction in an equitable environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Teach courses via on-ground, online, hybrid or web-enhanced delivery modes as assigned. Work with course leads and/or program coordinators/directors to ensure consistent and equitable student experiences. Utilize the college’s learning management system to provide course materials to students. Maintain and submit updated department syllabi prior to the first day of class. Regularly check NSCC email and departmental mailbox. Respond to emails/messages within 24 hours except on the weekend. Complete all required reports such as student engagement, Early Alerts, progress reports, grade submissions; administer and return surveys and student outcome assessments by the required deadlines. Engage in departmental institutional effectiveness activities. Submit final grades for each semester by the deadline established by the registrar. Work with students as academic advisor as assigned. Comply with all college and TBR policies and guidelines.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Master’s degree in Accounting; OR
Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Accounting Topics and a current CPA license.
