Job Summary
This is a full-time, 9-month tenure-track faculty appointment reporting to the department chair of Engineering Technologies. This faculty position will support the Electrical Engineering Technology and Computer Engineering Technology programs. The faculty member is responsible for the coordination, planning, preparation, presentation, and evaluation of classroom instruction and related activities (developing and preparing curricula and instructional material; delivering lectures; initiating, facilitating and moderating class discussions to students on topics in electrical engineering technology and computer engineering technology). The faculty member is responsible for performing assigned duties during the day, evening, or weekend on any Southwest Tennessee Community College campus as assigned. Job Duties
<ul>
<li>Prepares and delivers instruction to students on topics in electrical and computer engineering technology, including digital circuits, dc and ac circuits, electronics, digital industrial control systems, power technology, robotics, programmable logic controllers, microcontrollers, digital communication systems, and computer networks.</li>
<li>Develops curricula and instructional material such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts; writes student laboratory exercises and conducts student laboratory sessions for courses taught.</li>
<li>Compiles, administers, evaluates and grades students' coursework, laboratory work, assignments, tests, and papers fairly and consistently; and keep students informed about their progress through the prompt grading of course work.</li>
<li>Maintains accurate student attendance records, grades, and other required records in compliance with federal FERPA regulations.</li>
<li>Maintains office hours for students seeking academic advice, assists students with course-related problems outside of the classroom (tutoring), assists in the planning and implementation of the continuous quality improvement plan at the department and program levels.</li>
<li>Assists in the ABET reaccreditation process.</li>
<li>Keeps abreast of developments in the field by reading current literature, talking with colleagues, and participating in professional conferences.</li>
<li>Attends all faculty meetings, college assemblies, professional development and orientation activities, and other meetings as called by the President, Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dean, or Department Chair.</li>

Job Summary
The Assistant Director of Advising/Dual Credit reports directly to the Associate Dean of Advising Services. The Assistant Director provides support and management to both Advising Services and the Dual Credit Office, serving as second in command in both areas. The Assistant Director supports lead in both areas to implement strategies to promote both retention and new student enrollment. The Assistant Director provides training to all new advisors/dual credit advisors and takes the lead in producing resources/materials for staff and external partners.

The Admissions Counselor/Recruiter will create and maintain a welcoming and high-energy atmosphere for students and staff while providing exceptional customer service at all campus locations. This role actively supports and participates in various campus recruitment and retention efforts, ensuring students are guided throughout the admissions process. The counselor will assist in organizing and managing events such as graduations, national signing days, open houses, job fairs, student orientations, campus tours, and other student-centered activities.
The position involves extensive engagement with area high schools through tours, speaking engagements, and dual enrollment initiatives, all while maintaining strict compliance with admission, registration, and financial aid regulations. Counselors provide both group and individual orientations and offer guidance on admissions requirements and career paths. They also assist applicants in navigating the Banner portal for admissions, registration, and financial aid processes.
Maintaining regular communication with applicants is essential, as is updating and managing content for social and traditional media platforms. The Admissions Counselor/Recruiter develops marketing materials and collaborates with community agencies to promote college programs. Furthermore, they offer referral services to help meet students' educational, emotional, and physical needs, including disability services.
This role requires ongoing professional development and training, as well as the flexibility to work additional hours to support college events. Travel is occasionally required for recruitment and outreach efforts. Respiratory Therapy Instructor (Adjunct)

Summary:<ul><li>The Business Intelligence Analyst partners with operational groups across the organization on identifying opportunities for analytic reporting and dashboard solutions to provide operational groups with a single version of the truth of descriptive analytics.</li><li>Conducts research to determine best approach to collect required data to create key performance metrics including marketing, admissions, financial aid, retention, placement, tuition and scholarships, graduation rates, student learning, alumni, and other operational areas and relevant academic success factors to be used for decision making related to enhancing student outcomes and academic excellence.</li><li>Supports delivery and maintenance of reporting to support the entire student journey from marketing lead to alumni relations post-graduation.</li><li>Maintains knowledge of business systems and processes to leverage insights from data to optimize organizational opportunities.</li><li>Accelerates insight identification by providing high quality visualizations and leading analysis which guide end users’ interpretations of complex and sometimes muddled data.</li></ul> Responsibilities:<ul><li>Supports work for multiple projects, from analyzing requirements to designing, testing, deploying, and supporting users on a solution that meets those requirements.</li><li>Outputs include reports, dashboards, insights, recommendations, etc.</li><li>Hands-on with business intelligence software such as Power BI, Tableau, SAS Visual Analytics, etc.</li><li>Hands-on querying of Analytical Data Store, Trusted Data Store, and other data stores within the organization.</li><li>Exploration of other internal and external data sources as needed to fulfill requirements.</li><li>Documents business requirements based on customer requests to guide development of delivered solutions.</li><li>Collaborates with teams across the organization while evaluating, developing, and delivering solutions.</li><li>Provides clear communication and progress updates to internal teams and customers.</li><li>Tests, debugs, and evaluates enterprise software upgrade releases reporting issues to vendors and documenting end-user training materials and guides.</li><li>Interact with development teams while reviewing, testing, coding, and delivering final projects.</li><li>Supports, troubleshoots, and resolves customer-reported issues on enterprise solutions on a daily basis.</li><li>Interacts weekly with external vendor support teams of enterprise solutions.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent experience required; Bachelor' degree or above in Computer Science or Information System preferred.</li><li>Strong written and oral communication skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.</li><li>Excellent customer service.</li><li>Experience working with users developing business requirements.</li><li>Working knowledge of SQL and complex databases structures.</li><li>Experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise applications.</li><li>Experience working in higher education preferred.</li><li>This is an onsite position where you will work in our administrative office in Irvine, CA on a daily basis.</li></ul>Compensation:<ul><li>$98,454.61 - $142,710.62</li><li>Great Benefits Package</li></ul>#LI-CM1#HEJ
