NCLEX Specialist

You will make an impact by:<ul><li>Accountability for success of WCU Alumni functions and building strong relationships with key groups in the WCU community; supports the goals of placement and clinical preceptors, continued education, enrollments, and fundraising. </li><li>Being the Territory Manager for Alumni groups based nationally which monitors and manages all regional activities; will require travel between territories (including Administration office) to complete alumni relations activities and initiatives.</li><li>Responsible for maintaining a portfolio of a minimum of 150 alumni, moving them through the Alumni Life- Cycle and supporting them in their educational and career goals by maintaining regular communication via direct contact, phone calls, text message, social media messages, and email blasts.</li><li>Manages all aspects of alumni events within the territories including organization of event/program logistics, site visits, vendor contracting, budget management, event/program evaluation, set-up and break down of events. <ul><li>Events include but not limited to alumni presentations and panels, networking events, reunions, speakers, campus events, and fundraising events.</li></ul></li><li>Will work closely with other Alumni Relations staff on more complex events and programs within Alumni relations such as Commencement, Alumni Awards, networking, and Online Events. </li><li>Secures sponsorships and leads fundraising efforts for the Alumni Scholarship by building relationships with community and employers while hosting campus and alumni Pop-Up Fundraising Events.</li></ul>Your experience includes:<ul><li>3-5 years of relevant experience required; Higher education experience preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of applicable databases and computer application systems to supply the most accurate information, reports, and projections, including CRM systems and Raiser’s Edge.</li><li>Understanding of Marketing &amp; Communications Philosophy with direct experience with all major social networks.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a highly ethnic and culturally diverse student and associate community.</li><li>Ability to work as a team leader and manager.</li><li>Ability to build and manage important public relations.</li><li>Ability to make procedural decisions and judgments with skills in gathering data, compiling information, and preparing reports.</li><li>Ability to manage, budget and allocate funds. Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills. Alumni Relations & Events Manager

In addition, you will put your technical financial aid skills to work ensuring proper eligibility and processing in accordance with federal, state, and institutional rules and regulations. Come work and grow with us!You will make an impact by:&nbsp;<ul><li>Meeting with students and prospective students to provide information regarding costs of attendance, available financial aid options, and student loan counseling.</li><li>Reviewing documentation, forms and other information provided by students to ensure accuracy and completeness, update electronic student file appropriately based on information received, and scan documents into Image Now.</li><li>Reviewing student records to ensure any discrepant or conflicting information is appropriately resolved, and documents same.</li><li>Reviewing ISIR data to ensure c-codes are appropriately resolved and required verification items are requested, and document actions or resolutions are fully in the student electronic file.</li><li>Assisting students and parents with directions for requesting FSA User IDs, and online completion of FAFSAs (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), MPNs (Master Promissory Notes), and online student loan entrance and exist counseling.</li><li>Providing in-person student loan counseling for those who are unable to complete online counseling.</li></ul>Your Experience Includes:<ul><li>Minimum of 1 year’s experience as a customer service provider in a professional environment.</li><li>Ability to demonstrate the highest levels of integrity and professional ethics in all aspects of the job function.</li><li>Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills through active listening and delivery of information clearly and effectively.</li><li>Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills, with a professional, helpful, and positive demeanor.</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University.</li></ul>Licenses/Certifications:<ul><li>May not be in default on a federal student loan or owe repayment on a federal grant.</li></ul>
