GENERAL DUTIES:&nbsp; The Automotive Technology Associate Instructor is responsible for instructing incarcerated individuals inside a correctional facility in order to prepare them to re-enter the job market in the automotive technology field. The Associate Instructor must monitor, grade and evaluate individual students’ progress; maintain appropriate documentation of student progress; submit timely reports; and maintain close communication with correctional personnel and TCAT Dickson administration. &nbsp;This position provides theory and hands-on skills instruction. Areas of instruction include training in the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) certified program and the eight areas of ASE certification: engine repair, transmissions and transaxles, manual drive train and axles, suspension and steering, brakes, electrical and electronic systems, climate control, and engine performance. This position is full-time and reports to the Turney Center Program Coordinator. Applicants selected for an interview will be required to tour the Turney Center facility. Scheduled work hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Anticipated start date for the position is Fall 2024.
SALARY:&nbsp; $51,646-$61,976 annual salary ($26.49-$31.78 per hour). Commensurate with Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology salary guidelines and directly related experience.

POSITION SUMMARY This position provides a broad range of specialized laboratory support and guidance to full-time faculty and adjuncts for laboratory science courses.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Works independently under the direction of science faculty. Sets up supplies, materials and equipment for biology and chemistry laboratories, both for individual stations and for instructor-led demonstrations. Prepares specimens, cultures and slides for biology, anatomy and physiology and microbiology labs. Operates the autoclave and other associated lab equipment.

POSITION SUMMARY This is a full-time faculty position responsible for preparing and delivering quality instruction on topics in Industrial Process Control Technology in an equitable environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Teach courses via on-ground day and evening, hybrid or web-enhanced delivery modes as assigned. Within a minimum workweek of 37.5 hours, faculty are expected to teach a minimum of 15 hours and hold in person and virtual office hours as defined in College Policy. POSITION SUMMARY Serves as the primary point of contact for basic administrative, instructional and facilities support for evening operations at the Dickson Campus. Acts as an evening resource for faculty, staff and students and responds to emergencies during evening hours.
