This position has the responsibility of ensuring that the buildings &amp; equipment owned by the college is in good operating condition. Travel from the Dyersburg main campus to other centers and service area locations in west Tennessee will be required as directed. Job Summary
The Student Support Navigator assists the Student Outreach and Engagement Case Manager with helping students get the support they need to address their basic needs. These needs may include but are not limited to mental and physical health, food, transportation, and childcare. They connect students directly to vetted community agencies, resources, and institutional support programs. The navigator also provides students with D2L and other basic technology training to help support their academic success. The Student Outreach and Engagement Student Support Navigator reports to the Student Outreach and Engagement Case Manager and Program Coordinator.
Job Duties
Under the direction of the Student Outreach and Engagement Case Manager:
• Respond to student requests, helping them get the support they need to address their basic needs. These needs may include but are not limited to mental and physical health, food, transportation, and childcare.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community agencies and resources as well as institutional programs that support the basic needs of students
• Coordinate the delivery of D2L and basic technology training to help support students’ academic success
• Assist and support students in their journey to be digitally self-sufficient
• Conduct training in group and one-on-one settings, synchronously and asynchronously, that is focused primarily on basic technology-related topics and the use of D2L in a culturally competent manner
• Assess individual technology needs and helps connect students with available solutions in close coordination with local and county partners
• Design and maintain the Student Outreach and Engagement web content following usability and accessibility best practices that comply with grant specifications
• Create resource materials that are accessible for use within the Desire 2 Learn (D2L) platform

Job Summary
Reporting to the Dean of Science, the Instructor of Biology is responsible for teaching an average of 15 hours each semester of assigned courses, including biology and human anatomy and physiology, via on-ground, online, hybrid, or web-enhanced modalities. Job Summary

Job Duties

• Develop degree plans, prepare contracts, and monitor progress/compliance with program guidelines for dislocated workers enrolled at the institution through special sponsorship.
• Work with the Research, Analytics, and Planning Office to compile and submit yearly program data to the Tennessee Higher Education Commission as requested for enrolled dislocated workers.
• Serve as the TDLWD contact and be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date information for the Northeast State training programs listed on the Tennessee.Gov website.
• Assist students in accessing resources for academic, financial, and/or personal support.
• Maintain a flexible schedule for student appointments, including evening hours as needed.
• Conduct classroom presentations and workshops on topics relevant to student success as appropriate.

The Executive Director of Off Campus Instructional Sites (OCIS) is a full-time, fiscal year position reporting to the Dean of Academic Support and Operations. The Executive Director provides leadership, management, planning, and advocacy for all off-campus instructional sites. This position ensures that the OCIS are in compliance with SACSCOC standards, the college, TBR, and THEC policies. Job Duties

<li>Leads OCIS strategic planning initiatives.</li>
<li>Ensures OCIS programs are consistent with the mission of Southwest and that activation, assessment, and deactivation of OCIS offerings are done in accordance with college policy.</li>
<li>Tracks and analyzes student enrollment, retention, and performance data; uses data to make informed decisions regarding academic programs and resource management.</li>
<li>Ensures adherence to SACSCOC Standard 14.3 (Comprehensive Institutional Reviews) which outlines the expectations for on-campus instruction to apply to programs offered through OCIS.</li>
<li>Ensures selection of programs to be offered at an OCIS is the purview of the appropriate academic division which is expected to provide necessary and sufficient oversight of the program to ensure the currency of the program, its courses, and resources.</li>
<li>Ensures each OCIS program results in learning outcomes appropriate to the rigor and breadth of the credential awarded. Each program offered through OCIS has procedures in place to collect and review identified student learning outcomes and to identify program improvements based on the data collected.</li>
<li>Commits to supporting implemented programs for a period sufficient to enable admitted students to complete the program (as long as financially feasible).</li>
<li>Ensures that all OCIS students have access to relevant library resources to support the courses in which they are enrolled and provides access to library support services that closely approximates that offered to on-campus students as outlined in SACSCOC standards 11.1 (Library and Learning/Information Resources) and 11.3 (Library and Learning /Information Access).</li>
<li>Ensures that all OCIS students have access to the range of academic and student support services necessary to support their successful completion of an OCIS course or program as outlined in SACSCOC standard 12.1 (Student Support Services)</li>
