• Perform general office duties: Type and proof correspondence, reports, tales, charts, academic manuscripts, brochures, and other business materials as needed; make copies, assemble, collate, staple, or bind materials as required; distribute mail; prepare office supply requests.
• Maintain administrative Outlook calendars as needed.
• Assist with institutional and programmatic accreditations.

• Schedule facility usage. Coordinate with facilities and IT staff to endure resources are available when space is reserved.
• Coordinate special events as needed.

45% Provide assistance to instructors in CITC lab courses that use hands-on hardware/software resources, specifically Programming and Networking labs; which includes robotic software and repair, Linux, Database, and other programming language.
Networking and server administration skills, Routers and Switches configuration, Virtualization (VMWare, VSphere NETLAB, and&nbsp; Linux), Wireless communication, network cabling, fiber optic, electronic repair and computer hardware repair.
25% Modify instructional systems specific to CITC training needs. Assist faculty and students in setting up and regulated lab assignments and special projects. Which includes special software for projects for each student lab group and hardware setup,
15% Determine specifications for equipment needed for students' labs; requisition, tools, and supplies for classroom and lab.&nbsp; Administer servers. Install lab equipment software. Maintain, install and control equipment movement, Setup lab for each class per semester by WD imaging and hand load special software that can’t be deployed, Work with school IT department, Facilities and Purchasing
5% Supervise student employees and monitor the use of CSIT lab computers.
5% Professional Development (e.g. Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA), and cybersecurity courses to stay updated on emerging technologies.

Job Requirements:&nbsp;
Associate’s degree in Computer Science Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology or Electronics; 5 +year’s related work experience; knowledge of PCs, networks, servers, switch, ASA firewall, console servers, KVM switches and Mac-mini, database including operating systems windows, and Linux.
The job requires a strong educational background in networking technology, electronics, and programming skills.&nbsp; University level engineering is a plus along with Networking certifications and/ or related experience. Certification in Networking a plus.

Physical Demands:

Moderate, regular movement around the lab to set up, maintain, or troubleshoot equipment. Tasks may include lifting and transporting computers or peripherals, bending or kneeling to access hardware, and extended periods of standing or walking. Occasionally, heavier lifting or more strenuous physical activity may be needed for equipment installations or reconfigurations.
It would be very difficult to do this job without visual acuity because the position requires the tech to read digital and analog printouts from instrument. It would be difficult to perform this job without the ability to detect colors.&nbsp; The technician must be able to differentiate colors of wiring, cables and electronic parts.
Hazards: Possible like small cuts, muscle strain, or eye strain.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Serve as a back-up to the front-line service window for students and others needing to conduct financial business or make inquiries.&nbsp; Assist with phone calls and emails coming into the business office and routing to appropriate personnel.&nbsp; Help maintain the automated parking system for student and staff and assist with registration as needed.</li>
<li>Assist the lead cashier in maintaining the cash receipt system, posting payments, and performing daily reconciliations.&nbsp; Assist with Financial Aid checks prior to distribution to students and verifying they have provided all required certifications and identification.</li>
<li>Assist with processing all incoming mail for the business office and route to appropriate individuals and serve as back up for posting outgoing mail.&nbsp; Sort and prepare checks for distribution to individuals and vendors.</li>

POSITION SUMMARY This position provides a broad range of specialized laboratory support and guidance to full-time faculty and adjuncts for laboratory science courses.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Works independently under the direction of science faculty. Sets up supplies, materials and equipment for biology and chemistry laboratories, both for individual stations and for instructor-led demonstrations. Prepares specimens, cultures and slides for biology, anatomy and physiology and microbiology labs. Operates the autoclave and other associated lab equipment. Assists with and maintains inventory in the science area at the Southeast campus. Assists other campuses with inventory of equipment as needed. Prepares purchase orders and receives shipments for the sciences. Assists instructors during laboratory sessions, when appropriate. Assists in other science areas as necessary. Responsible for supporting additional campuses in Davidson County. Occasional travel to other campuses required. Performs minor repairs of equipment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Minimum of three years of professional lab experience is required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Prior experience in a higher education setting
Knowledge of biology or a related area, such as medical laboratory technology, veterinary science, etc.

Leadership &amp; Supervisory:&nbsp;The incumbent is responsible for assisting with the supervision and direction of up to 60 student athletes. The position operates with limited supervision at times, and most tasks are performed without consultation of others. Resources, policies, or a supervisor are readily available if needed. Environment &amp; Working Conditions:&nbsp;This position will experience a varied environment. Incumbent’s work in an office environment will include moderate noise and interruption. Incumbent will also be exposed to extreme heat, humidity, noise, and temperature changes are possible. Occasional exposure to extreme cold during the winter season. Incumbent will be required to lift equipment in the excess of 25 pound or more and perform duties that require standing, bending, and squatting.
