Job Summary The College of Nursing (CON) at the University of Kentucky is seeking an Administrative Services Assistant to join our team! This position will provide comprehensive human resources, payroll, and office support for the business office and the CON Research Nursing Department. The role will manage the full employee life cycle for staff on several state Medicaid grants, including onboarding, payroll administration, and cost distribution management, while ensuring compliance with College, University, and regulatory policies. In addition, the role will function as a time administrator for biweekly and monthly payroll for grant-funded staff. The position will support the entire CON with the hiring and time management of temporary, STEPS, and student positions. As the College of Nursing continues to grow, this position will be integral in serving as backup support for the HR Director, Payroll Specialist, and Business Office operations as needed. This position is responsible for assisting with processing new applicants, domestic and international transcript evaluations. The position actively collaborates with other university staff involved in various aspects of admissions and records processing, to ensure that related processes are completed in a timely manner. Duties/Responsibilities&nbsp; <ul><li>Assist with assessing international applicants' documents and transcripts to determine admission eligibility for both Freshmen &amp; Transfer applicants. </li><li>Perform significant data entry, verification, updates, evaluations, and reviews using multiple student information databases to include the CRM. </li><li>Create queries in the CRM to assess critical data points needed or missing (such as student type, status, term, etc.). </li><li>Assist with performing data imports and exports from the CRM to support enrollment initiatives that may involve other campus units and divisions. </li><li>Handle telephone and email inquiries. </li><li>Utilize information from high school and college transcripts and additionally submitted credentials to perform transcript/credential evaluations. </li><li>Perform duties involving document management, scanning, indexing, and verifying documents and data.
