The peer-to-peer interactions between SLC Peer Guides and SLC students will set the foundation for students to increase academic success, college connectedness, and program completion. SLC Peer Guides are expected to collaborate with the SLC Success Coach, the Student Success & Retention Area, and faculty associated with the specific SLC, in the planning, promotion, and facilitation of SLC activities. SLC Peer Guides will spend most of their time working with and helping other students.

Peer guides will serve under the Student Success & Retention area but will often work directly with the faculty leads for chosen or assigned student cohorts. Peer guide responsibilities and time commitments may vary based on the specific assigned Student Learning Community (SLC).
