Instructor of Physician Assistant Studies, Principal Faculty
Reporting to the Program Director, the Instructor of Physician Assistant Studies will have responsibilities in all program phases of the PA curriculum, including the preclinical, clinical, and research phases under the guidance of the Director of Preclinical Education, Director of Clinical Education, and Director of Research. This includes, but is not limited, to didactic course instruction, preparation of examinations, small group instructions, participation in end-of-rotation meetings, clinical site visits, student advisement, research mentoring, working with students on their professional development, and preparing students to practice as Physician Assistants upon graduation. In addition, responsibilities will include providing administrative support to the PA program as determined by the Director including, but not limited to, campus-wide educational activities, institutional and program committee participation, accreditation activities, review of preclinical curriculum, admissions, and outreach and recruitment.
