Job Summary

The University of Kentucky Department of Family & Community Medicine is seeking a qualified family physician to join our Lexington-based clinic located at Fountain Court, to practice primary care, non-surgical obstetrics.

Family and Community Medicine has several clinics in the state, including additional locations in Lexington, as well as clinics located in Georgetown, Hazard, and Hindman, Kentucky. We serve as leaders at UK HealthCare’s $4 billion health system. We are a national leader in transitional care management and its impact on unnecessary hospital readmissions. Our department’s clinical volume includes over 100,000 annual visits and over 2,500 hospital discharges across our current clinics and hospital services.

We offer competitive compensation based on rank and experience and an excellent benefits package that includes health, dental, life, disability and malpractice insurance; a generous retirement plan; continuing education; paid time off and more.

Please include cover letter and CV along with application. The review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled. Rank and compensation are commensurate with experience.
