Responsibilities:
- Teach English Composition Courses: Instruct students in English Composition I and II, adhering to the college’s curriculum guidelines and standards.
- Course Preparation and Delivery: Prepare and deliver lectures, assignments, and assessments that align with course objectives and learning outcomes.
- Student Engagement: Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages active participation and engagement.
- Assessment and Feedback: Evaluate student performance through essays, assignments, and other assessment methods. Provide constructive feedback to support student improvement.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the department’s initiatives and activities.
- Compliance: Adhere to college policies, procedures, and academic standards.
- Education: Master’s degree in English, Composition, Rhetoric, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
